Name: Therese Samuel Sobhi, age 40, from Sohag Governorate, residing in Cairo Governorate. Chandelier making is a craft inherited in the family. My father has extensive experience in the world of lighting and chandeliers since 1963. I was born into an artistic family with experience in the world of lighting, and I found this to be my only passion and love since my childhood, in making lighting units inspired by nature with simple handcrafting that reflects the simplicity and beauty of each unit. All of our products are handcrafted by Egyptian hands without any machinery. We use hand-hammered copper and other metals such as stainless steel, iron, and sometimes colored stained glass, wood, and crystal. Preserving the Egyptian identity while combining it with modern taste is our primary and only goal. In an era dominated by noise and technology, we fight to preserve our craftsmanship and our identity in making lighting units that reflect calm and modernity.
